Rosh Hoshanna

We are studying the Biblical feasts this year as part of school.

Yesterday was Rosh Hoshanna~ the Jewish new year.

Also known as the Feast of Trumpets.

We blew our shofer & had a special family meal.

We set the table with our best & said the prayers & followed the traditons.

My husband declared it as good as Thanksgiving ;).

We had tilapia  for our special dinner.

I didn't get any pics of the shofer blowing or the prayers but there's your glimpse into our Feast of Trumpets :)
