WARNING: photo heavy post :)
Last weekend was the local "May Day" celebration.
They have a parade & a 'picnic' in the park~ with food booths & a petting zoo & balloons & face painting ~ you know :)
For the first time ever our church was involved.
We had an entry in the parade & a booth at the park. We based everything on our VBS theme for this year: "Gold Rush."
We had a bounce house, a popcorn machine, a sand box for 'gold panning' & wordless bracelets.
Everything was free but to take part in it every child had to get a "wordless bracelet" & along with the bracelet they received the Gospel.
We gave out over 500 wordless bracelets. 500. That means over 500 children received the Gospel that day!
Can you say "Praise the Lord!" ???
And the icing on the cake? We took 1st place in the parade :)
It was an AWESOME day.
AWESOME.
And I have about 5 million pictures to share! (okay, only 23. But who's counting?)
See all those kids in line? They are waiting to get their bracelets & hear the Gospel. God is good.
Blessings.
