Purity Ball Take 2

It's that time of year again.

The time when beautiful girls & their handsome dads get all gussied up & attend the Purity Ball.

The idea behind it is to encourage girls in their quest to remain pure until marriage. And to encourage fathers to encourage their daughters.

It's a big fancy deal with a formal dinner, an "Introduction" ceremony & dancing.

A local church puts it on & they do a fabulous job.

My girl has been looking forward to it all year.

We even had a special shopping day this week to gather all of "needed' items to be the prettiest girl there.

Of course, she was born the prettiest girl so we just gilded the lilly :)

So, here I am, at home, typing blog posts while my daughter & husband dance the night away...
