While we were there we hit the Safari Park in Winston http://www.wildlifesafari.net/, visited fabulous friends in Clackamas & discovered to our great joy that there is now a Cabelas in Springfield :)
We stayed at a hotel with an indoor pool & the kids put that to use each night ;)
Our 5 year old started out the trip with a yucky cold (which of course only bothered him each night at bedtime :P ) & by the end of the trip he had passed it to his sister & then on to his brothers once we were home :(
I still feel like I need a vacation but at least this was a start.
