We just finished a 2 week study on Mexico & we wrapped it up with a fiesta. The kids made tortillas (from scratch) & we piled them with meat, cheese, beans, salsa & quacamole.
We also made pinatas & smashed them to bits to get to the candy 
.
So far we are loving "My Fathers World" curriculum. It's off to Canada next, eh?

Oh....it brings back so many memories. My children are all grown up and I miss homeschooling! EIt sounds as if you are enjoying it too! It will be over way too soon!
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't wait until next year!!! We love our first grade MFW but, as much as my kids LOVE to learn about the different parts of the world they are just going to go crazy about next year! SO glad that you and your kids are enjoying schooling! :o)
